De acuerdo con datos reportados por GetNinjas, la aplicación para contratar oficios y servicios de América Latina, las solicitudes de este tipo de trabajos crecieron un 1200% durante el primer semestre de 2019, llegando a un total de 20,000 peticiones al cierre de junio.
Los trabajos más solicitados, con una suma total de más de 13,000 peticiones, fueron los siguientes:
- Mudanzas y fletes; +3,200 solicitudes
- Salón de fiestas y catering; +2,000 solicitudes
- Herrería y soldadura; +1,500 solicitudes
- Exterminador y fumigador; +1,400 solicitudes
- Albañiles; +1,400 solicitudes
- Plomeros; +1,300 solicitudes
- Electricistas; +1,000 solicitudes
- Yeso y tablaroca; +1,000 solicitudes
Sobre los servicios de mudanzas, la plataforma indica que en una ciudad con una población dinámica como lo es la Ciudad de México, es ordinario que haya constantes movimientos de personas que vienen de otros estados del país, y que cambian su residencia principalmente por motivos de trabajo. Además, también existen personas que se mudan dentro de la misma ciudad buscando acercarse a sus lugares de trabajo, o para encontrar un sitio que se ajuste a su economía.
Eduardo L’Hotellier, presidente global de GetNinjas indica que estos servicios se han concentrado principalmente en la capital del país, debido a la densidad de población de la zona. “Una característica de este tipo de oficios es que son principalmente requeridos por personas que no tienen el conocimiento o tiempo para realizar una tarea, y tampoco necesitan aprender o intentarlo por su cuenta, por lo que prefieren acudir con un experto”, indicó el directivo.
“Las grandes ciudades, como la CDMX, poseen una población muy grande en donde estas situaciones son habituales y abundantes, debido a que gran parte de la población se encuentra trabajando fuera de casa durante el día. Todo el tiempo se necesita de expertos que realicen reparaciones generales o especializadas en casa, y de ahí que la demanda crezca constantemente” enfatizó L’Hotellier.
Durante el siguiente semestre, GetNinjas proyecta que la tendencia en las solicitudes de servicios se mantenga dentro de estas categorías. De igual manera, se espera que otras ciudades grandes, como Guadalajara y Monterrey, aumenten sus números dentro de las mismas categorías.
Para el cierre del año, la aplicación espera cerrar con un incremento del 100% en sus principales métricas en nuestro país, para alcanzar los 14,000 usuarios y 40,000 solicitudes. “México es un mercado con un gran potencial que puede ser alcanzado si se aplica la tecnología de manera inteligente, así que tenemos planes para seguir creciendo en el país”, concluyó el directivo.
De hecho, los profesionales, programadores de computadoras, diseñadores gráficos, editores de cine y una enorme cantidad de freelancers, es decir profesionistas o especialistas independientes, venden sus propios servicios en plataformas como México Freelance o Workana. No hay excusas para no vender en Internet.
