En un revelador estudio impulsado por la Asociación de Emprendedores de México (ASEM), se pone de manifiesto que el 64% de los emprendedores en México enfrentan su camino sin recibir apoyo alguno de instituciones públicas o privadas. La presidenta del Consejo Directivo de ASEM, Juana Ramírez, compartió estos hallazgos durante la presentación de la “Radiografía del Emprendimiento 2023”. Se trata de un análisis sobre los desafíos cruciales que obstaculizan el desarrollo de nuevos negocios en el país.
Obstáculos en la Ruta Emprendedora
Uno de los datos más impactantes es que el 57% de los emprendedores mexicanos ni siquiera conocen los programas públicos de apoyo empresarial existentes. Este desconocimiento contribuye al aislamiento de una gran cantidad de emprendedores que podrían beneficiarse de recursos y orientación.
El estudio también resalta que el 76% de los emprendimientos en México cierran durante sus primeros tres años de operaciones. La falta de acceso a financiamiento y los retrasos en pagos por parte de proveedores emergen como los principales culpables. “No hay políticas públicas ni tributarias que nos permitan operar”, enfatizó Juana Ramírez, subrayando la urgente necesidad de medidas que faciliten el camino para los emprendedores.
Apoyos existentes y desconocimiento generalizado
De las empresas que sí reciben ayuda para su expansión, un 15.2% proviene de mentores, un 11.4% de incubadoras y un 8.5% de aceleradoras. Sin embargo, el apoyo del propio gremio empresarial se limita al 5.1%. A nivel gubernamental, solo el 4.9% de los emprendedores encuestados refirió haber recibido ayuda de programas a nivel federal, mientras que el 8.2% lo hizo a nivel estatal.
Es particularmente preocupante que más de la mitad de los emprendedores desconozcan los programas de apoyo público. Ante esta falta de información, ASEM destaca la necesidad de simplificar trámites, desarrollar esquemas amigables para el pago de impuestos y cuotas obrero-patronales, así como incentivar inversiones en emprendimiento de alto impacto.
Calificación reprobatoria al ecosistema emprendedor
La calificación de 2.6 sobre 5 obtenida por el ecosistema emprendedor mexicano refleja una realidad preocupante. Este bajo puntaje, según Juana Ramírez, destaca la falta de políticas públicas efectivas para respaldar la creación de nuevos negocios en el país.
La presidenta de ASEM hace un llamado urgente a incluir el emprendimiento en la agenda política nacional. El 69.3% de los emprendedores declara no haber recibido ningún tipo de apoyo para sus proyectos, subrayando la necesidad de un cambio significativo en las políticas públicas.
Iniciativas y acciones necesarias
Frente a este panorama desafiante, los emprendedores proponen iniciativas como la simplificación de trámites (48.7%) y esquemas amigables para impuestos y cuotas obrero-patronales (34.9%). Se destaca la importancia de mayor flexibilidad en las primeras etapas de las empresas, considerando que el 76% de los negocios cierra durante los tres primeros años.
En la misma línea, Jorge Corral Linares, director ejecutivo de ASEM, resalta la importancia de crear procesos más rápidos, citando el éxito de la Sociedades de Acciones Simplificada (SAS). Además, se destaca la necesidad de garantizar el pago oportuno a proveedores, con el 33% de las pymes enfrentando pagos atrasados.
Conclusiones y llamado a la acción
La “Radiografía del Emprendimiento 2023” deja claro que el ecosistema emprendedor en México enfrenta desafíos significativos que requieren atención inmediata. El llamado a incluir el emprendimiento en la agenda política del país resuena con fuerza, instando a medidas concretas que impulsen la creación y sostenibilidad de negocios. La simplificación de trámites, flexibilidad en las primeras etapas y garantía de pagos oportunos emergen como piedras angulares para transformar el panorama emprendedor en México. El tiempo de actuar es ahora, y el éxito futuro de los emprendedores mexicanos depende de la colaboración efectiva entre el sector privado y las instituciones gubernamentales.
